A bunch of folks have asked me if I was going to spend today's column lionizing myself and describing my contribution to the band. I feel like that would be silly, especially in light of the fact that many in the comments section have already decided that I was the cock, balls and asshole of FXA. What can I add to that warm and loving description?
Anyway, just to wrap up our week of self-congratulation, I wanted to say thanks once again to everyone who has supported us in any way over the past four years. This was an amazing ride.

of course keep writing this thing jdog. also, let me propose an idea. why doesn't fooled by april reuntite once a year to play a show? like say new years or something. i don't think anybody wants to believe it's really over (especially me since i couldn't be at the show). or you could play every year on april fool's day. then we'd all be wondering if you guys were really gonna play or not. but you would. eh?
I need regular doses of sarcasm to stay balanced. Life is too easy on the west coast, so I need to be reminded of the pain and suffering in the world, and how everything sucks.
Does your question of whether to keep writing originate in the event of the band's splt? If that be the case, which I assume it is, I would say thats a stupid fucking reason to stop writing. First of all, most of your entries have nothing to do with the band at all, unless you include steamy passages concerning Jordan and the homoerotic feelings he recklessly engenders. This blog seems otherwise devoted to discussions of how cute small children are, your own daily biofunctions, and whiney shit about your job. (Hint: fucking quit and get a new one). So yes, by all means, continue to write. Just because the band is no longer making noise doesn't mean YOU can't.
Which reminds me. Do the former members of Fooled By April have any individual plans to do solo and/or corrorborative work in the future?
